Klosr preview

Klosr requires Sign in with Apple. It stores the Apple user identifier and any Apple-provided display name in the iPhone Keychain. People, drafts, finished items, settings, drawings, photographs, and voice recordings use an account-scoped protected folder on the iPhone. Klosr also writes a separately scoped continuity snapshot for that Klosr account to the user’s private iCloud database when iCloud is available. Blue Goat Studios does not operate an app-content server and the current app contains no advertising or analytics SDK.

When you choose to send outside Klosr, the app creates a user-initiated export that may include a keepsake image, voice companion, creation time, and a relationship-scoped pseudonymous identity used to group repeat imports intended for the same local person. Different local relationships receive different values. Someone with multiple packages carrying the same relationship value may recognize that they are related. A .klosr package is not encrypted or signed by Klosr. The iPhone destination you select may retain, back up, or forward its own copy under that service's terms.

If you enable the optional app lock, Apple performs Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode authentication. Klosr receives only the success or failure result and does not receive or store biometric data. An incoming document event may enter a count-limited file-reference queue before unlock, but Klosr does not start access to or read the package bytes until authentication succeeds.

Sign out clears the saved Apple credential from Klosr but does not erase the account workspace. Delete account first removes the private iCloud continuity zone when iCloud is reachable, then removes the local Klosr profile, people, messages, media, and drafts and clears the saved credential. The current preview does not yet revoke the Sign in with Apple authorization through Apple’s token service. It cannot remove copies already retained in Photos, another app, another device, a backup file, or by a recipient. Klosr is intended for people 18 and older.
